The Boulevard Senior Living St. Charles’ 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Delights

‘Tis the season to indulge in Arrow’s most festive tradition, The 12 Days of Christmas. It’s time for The Boulevard Senior Living St. Charles’ culinary team to get creative for each day of festivities. As residents, family, and friends join around the table. We’ll embark on a delectable adventure. It started with the iconic partridge in a pear tree and ended with the drummers drumming. Each day will be a culinary experience that truly captures the essence of the holiday season. Every unique dish tells tales of tradition, celebration, and the spirit of togetherness.

My favorite of the 12 Days of Christmas is nine ladies dancing on day nine because everyone seems to love tiramisu! For me, the most challenging of the 12 Days is five golden rings on day five. There are a lot of different ring items to prepare for this day.

The residents seem to enjoy eleven pipers piping the most. They love my eclairs. But the staff went for twelve drummers drumming on day 12 during Drumstick Happy Hour. They enjoy those wings! If I could make a change with any of the 12 Days, it would be seven swans a swimming. The tuna dish is one of the less exciting food items.

One of my family holiday traditions is making pecan rolls every year. Candied nuts would be a great holiday addition to our Arrow communities.

The culinary team is immersed in the magic of shared meals, laughter, and holiday warmth that truly brings our community together.
